Huttah - we're ill!

The flu has come round to get us; but this means we've had some more free time to work on boku =).

This week we've created a donations system which lets you run different fund raising campaigns for your clan. Site owners can access this through their site settings page. Just set up a campaign and put the email to send money to in. Then place the donation element on your site, and when people donate it will track who's donated, how much, and when - it'll also show you the progress towards your goal.

You can use the element as follows:

[e:donation id=campaign_id]

 where campaign_id is the id of the campaign you want to use

Well I have been on my own this weekend, as Chickenhen goes gallivanting off on luxury holidays to Bognor Regus.

So this is what should have changed this week:

• Soft delete on Forum Posts.

• Set number of news posts on front page before pagination.
  

Fixes & Enhancements

• Fixtures page, removed <th> tag.
• Shouts self delete if there are more than 150.
• Fixed user admin group assignment page on IE.

So really the biggest change this week is soft delete on forum posts. This means if an admin deletes a forum post, they can still see it, and choose to restore it.

As you may have guessed from my ever creative titles, we have now released our awards upgrade! You can now create medals/awards, and assign them to your site members, simples!

Again we have been doing so much back end stuff, we have redone the way map images work so you can now upload whatever image you like, not just jpg. We have also centralised our theming system, so hopefully at some point today, you will notice that your clan website has all the released themes installed. You can customise them by using the replaceability system.

And finally I have given into pressure, and you are now (as an admin) able to change forum topic titles.

We have also created a new element which shows your Newest Members.

So there you have it, another week, another update. Keep your suggestions coming, now back to playing Wolfenstein.

Despite appearances this is a really huge upgrade for us, and again it has been a lot of internal stuff which really should not affect you.

One of the biggest changes has been a complete rewrite of the way we handle images, which makes it a lot easier for us to manage, and should be a little more robust for your clan sites.

In addition we have introduced a referral system; to help get it kick started we have introduced the following rewards:

• Referral System - Site owners click here to get your referral code and link. If you give this out to someone who registers for a site using it, you will instantly get a time reward added to your account (Please see above).
• Image gallery - You can now view your images fullscreen by clicking on them in your image library.
• Animated GIFs - Should now work as avatars.

• Post counts in forum view.
• Delete map now remove images with non-standard characters.
• Sites can now be put down for maintenance.
• Reorded control panel menu.
• Fixed overflowing signature text box.
  

That's about all folks, we have also added a Twitter, on the right hand side of the screen here, not sure what we are going to be using that for as of yet! 

Another week, another update. Again this week we have been working on a lot of foundation stuff surrounding the site, to put us in a position to be able to release the next big updates. So these updates are mainly small changes and bug fixes.

So a small update this week, but we can assure you there is a lot of underground activity, which we hope to release next week.

To give you an idea of what we are doing, we will be releasing our referrals system, where you should be able to get some free site time for anyone who signs up by clicking through from your site, or from a special link you can give them.

The way we handle images has been completely changed, we have a much cleaner system in place now, we also have the ability to cleanly handle files as well, so this will help us out with the download center that we will soon introduce.

And finally, you should have noticed a significant increase in your sites performance over the last week.
